What does a first TV appearance have in common with running a 100-meter sprint? According to Jeremy Ghez — a lot more than you’d think.
In this episode of Keeping Up With the SASIs, we explore the intersection of academia, leadership, imagination, and the human side of success. Jeremy reflects on his unconventional career journey, the challenge of finding balance in a constantly changing world, and why understanding history is essential when leading organizations through uncertainty.
We also dive into a fascinating idea: are traditional analytical tools enough to help us understand today’s reality? Or do we need imagination, fiction, and new ways of thinking to solve problems where old solutions no longer work?
And in one of the most personal moments of the episode, Jeremy shares how his children help “call him back to life” — reminding him of what truly matters.
This conversation is thoughtful, optimistic, funny, and full of unexpected insights on leadership, education, and the future.
