[…] So the fact that we think that there can be any assimilation with somebody who abides and lives by the Koran is ridiculous, no? Yes, I entirely agree. I mean, if someone lives by the Quran, they cannot assimilate into American society. And, you know, they need to be assimilated if they're truly to become Americans. And we want, again, we want people to become Americans, even from overseas, if they want to believe in our constitution, in our laws, in our system of government. That's all to the good, because we are as President Reagan used to say, we're the last best hope. If America, if freedom dies in America, there's no place else to go because there's no freedom really existing anywhere else that compares to America. […]
