Ep. 11 - R.E.S.T.
We can move through our daily lives without noticing much about what’s happening around us or what’s going on inside ourselves. Before we realize it, we can wind up depleted without having noticed how we got there. In this episode, Kevin talks about how his short hiatus allowed him to see just how much he needed to retreat, energize, and sharpen to organize an actual takeover of his own life.

Ep. 9 - Extinguishing the Fire
Anger may very well be the oldest and most primitive emotion. Anger is easy to recognize in others but not always in ourselves. In this week’s episode, Kevin talks about his own experiences with anger and how it nearly stopped him from finding his way out of depression. Anger is a useful and important emotion, however, left unchecked it can get the best of us. Anger oftentimes takes us out of the present moment and can ruin relationships we have others and the relationship we have with ourselves.

Ep.8 - Regulators
Our stress receptors cannot tell the difference between real or false dangers. This means that if our emotions aren’t properly regulated, our bodies can have the same reaction to our kids being unruly as we would to a life or death situation. In this episode dedicated to parenting, Kevin talks about how unchecked stress makes a parent unavailable to their child and how parents can change that.

It’s hard to imagine life without fear. It can save lives--and it can paralyze and permeate every part of our life. Taming it and directing is one of life’s greatest challenges. As with all emotion, the practice of meditation can stabilize us enough amid fear to help us see more clearly.

Ep. 2 - Here Comes The Judgment
The mind is a judging apparatus. Everything that we experience is filtrated, classified, and handled in some involuntary way. But what happens when our trusty judgment machine goes unchecked? In this episode, Kevin speaks about how his suffering was magnified due to his out-of-control internal judging mechanism and breaks down how non-judgment can help us enter a new (and better) dimension of our lives.
