About Key Tech Talks Podcast

Hey there! I'm Lauren Halkett, and I'm the host of Key Tech Talks, a podcast that's all about shaking things up in the tech world. πŸŽ§πŸ’» As a neurodivergent woman with PTSD, autism, and ADHD, I've had my fair share of ups and downs in the professional world. 🎒 But you know what? I'm not just here to talk about myself. I'm on a mission to change how we think about diversity, equality, and inclusion in tech and beyond. πŸ’ͺ🌈 I've learned a lot from my experiences, and now I want to use that knowledge to help create workplaces where everyone can thrive, no matter how their brain works. 🧠✨ On Key Tech Talks, we have all sorts of interesting conversations about diversity, inclusion, and mental health at work. We don't just stick to one perspective – we've got a whole mix of guests, including: β™₯️ Neurodivergent folks doing amazing things in their fields 🧑 D&I experts with fresh ideas πŸ’› Mental health pros sharing their wisdom πŸ’š Tech leaders who are making positive changes Our guests share their stories, their expertise, and their tips for creating workplaces that are truly inclusive and good for mental health. πŸ”₯🍡 We're talking about some big issues too. Did you know that stress, depression, and anxiety make up almost half of all work-related health problems? That's why we're putting mental health and diversity at the top of the list for 2024! We look at how diversity, inclusion, and mental health all work together to make better work environments. 🌈🧠 We talk about everything from how diverse teams can come up with better ideas to how inclusive policies can make work less stressful for everyone. Because when everyone feels like they belong, we all do better! I'm not just talking about this stuff – I'm living it as the boss of Key Global Recruitment. I'm not about hiding behind a screen. I love getting out there, sharing what I've learned, and helping people reach their goals! 🌟 So, if you're neurodivergent, work in D&I, care about mental health, run a business, or want to see some positive change in the world, Key Tech Talks is for you. πŸŽ§πŸ“ Come join us as we work towards making workplaces where diversity is celebrated and everyone's mental health matters. πŸš€πŸŒ Let's make it happen! πŸ’– Together, we can create workplaces that are diverse, inclusive, and good for everyone's mental health. Because when we focus on both diversity and mental health, we're not just changing jobs – we're changing lives!
