Digging Deep: A Journey of Self-Discovery After a Cancer Diagnosis
In this episode of the podcast, Lou shares her personal journey with cancer. She underwent a spiritual journey and found a meditation technique which gave her mental strength. Despite devastating news, Lou attempts to lighten the mood and decides to donate their hair to the Princess Trust. Lou is currently midway through a treatment for a health condition and has had four out of six rounds of chemotherapy. She recently had a CT scan which will determine how well the treatment is working, with tumour markers suggesting that the chemo is working.
She also discusses her search for answers within herself after being diagnosed with an incurable illness and the importance of taking action to prevent cancer from coming back. The next episode will discuss cancer treatments and her experience trying to get a wig to appear cancer-free for her child.
