The LEGO Set of Excellence | Interview with Bro. Brian Manwarren!
SPECIAL GUEST INTERVIEW with Bro. Brian Manwarren - children's director from Buchanan, MI. We talk about excellence and all of the building blocks that go along with pursuing excellence in the right spirit. I liken the process with that of completing a Lego set. We need: the right building blocks, instructions, time, help, a willingness to pay the price, and a determination to get it done!
Let's have excellence permeate everything we do in the Kingdom of God in the anointing of the Holy Ghost and become everything God wants us to become for His glory. The kids, churches, families, and cities we are ministering to DESERVE IT!

It Takes Vision AND Work
Sometimes, we dreamers and visionaries need a reminder that any idea, any vision, requires WORK to actually become a reality! As we prepare to enter the New Year, let's dig into getting a vision for ourselves and our ministries, and then put forth the effort with the determination it will take to GET IT DONE!
Lots of exciting things are about to be launched from KidMin University to give even more resources and content to Apostolic Children's Ministers! AND THAT'S NOT A THREAT.... IT'S A PROMISE!
Last week was Summit Conference in Pigeon Forge, TN, but to the kids and myself and a whole bunch of other amazing children's ministers, it was Kingdom Kids Conference! In this episode, I have an amazing round table discussion with some of the incredible children's ministers present at the conference where we talk Kid's Ministry and Kingdom Kids Conference. If you'd like to go next year, the dates are September 3rd, 4th & 5th 2024 in Pigeon Forge, TN.
This is part three of the discussion we had. If you've been blessed and would like to hear the rest of our conversation, join in at the podcasts listed below!

Registration is available at socalcommission.com/workshop at $20 per person and includes amazing workshops as well as dinner Friday night and lunch Saturday afternoon.
5 Kid's Ministry Takeaways From the Story of Jochebed and Baby Moses:
We MUST see these children as worth saving!
We MUST have a structure in place.
We MUST not rely on the structure alone, but cover the ministry in prayer, fasting, Holy Ghost burden and anointing.
We MUST put a kid in the ark! The child is only saved when they're placed in the basket.
We MUST develop a church culture of support and enthusiasm around our children's ministry.
Thank you for listening! If this episode was a blessing, I always appreciate a 5-rating on the podcast platform of your preference. This helps get the shop out there to more people who may be looking for kids-min resources. Share it with you kids-min circles and church family and I would be forever grateful. The Process of Prayer In Kids Ministry
Today we explore my process I use considering prayer for Kids Ministry:
1. Praying FOR your kids
2. Praying WITH your kids
3. Praying OVER your kids
We should be comfortable praying out loud in front of people if we plan on teaching kids how to pray. They are going to learn by watching and hearing YOU and ME pray out loud in front of them so they can have a template to understand HOW to connect to God in prayer. We'll learn about being careful not to "pop the clutch" when praying with kids, and how to effectively lead kids to grow in their knowledge and experiences in developing their prayer life.

Seven Keys to an Effective Object Lesson
In this episode you'll hear from my very first interviewee Bro. Philip Booker on "Seven Keys to an Effective Object Lesson." Bro. Booker is the Sunday School Superintendent at the Inland Lighthouse Church in Rialto, CA, a dynamic children's evangelist, founder of apostolicsundayschool.com, an out-and-out soul winner and my personal friend. I've labeled him as the King of Object Lessons and that is probably still an understatement. I hope your inspired, educated and challenged by this episode!
This being my first interview, I went over my time-limit I've set for this podcast, but that will change as I get better at giving interviews. Thank you for listening! Would so appreciate your rating and sharing with other Children's/Sunday School ministers.
Episode Highlights:
"I'd rather have to reign in a noble steed than to prod a stubborn mule."
"Don't let the activity steal the show. Remember you have a lesson to teach."
"Adapt the lesson to your own style, your own audience and your own surroundings."
"Prepare for the unexpected because stuff is going to happen. Just be ready to roll with the stuff."
Never tell the kids how an object lesson is done.
