In this episode we talk through the newest entry in the Halloween Franchise, and the conclusion to the David Gordon Green Trilogy: Halloween Ends! Listen to the gang as they talk through the films place in the franchise and the philosophical distinctions between evil and wickedness. As a disclaimer, most of the material in our main segment on Evil comes from Terry Eagleton's book, 'On Evil'. Even though we may not agree with the entire text, we thought it was an interesting jumping off point for our discussion. Also, if any psychologists want to chime in and complicate or rectify our discussion on Evil and Wickedness, we'd love to hear your thoughts!
Happy Halloween everyone!

6 - Jacob's Ladder
Matt and Mike are joined by special guest Alan to discuss the 1990 Adrian Lyne film, Jacob's Ladder. You'll notice from the running time that this episode is significantly longer than our previous episodes. This episode is, in part, a broader conversation with Alan about his own experiences with the horror genre more broadly and how that curtails with Jacob's Ladder peculiar place in horror history. In this episode, we discuss horror's generic shifts over the last thirty years and Jacob's Ladders trans-media relevance to psychological horror. It's a bit all over the place but we had a wonderful time making this episode. Jacob's Ladder is #195 on the Rotten Tomatoes Top 200 Horror Films of All Time. Hope you enjoy the episode!
