It’s 2020: you’re in your 20s, managed to finish a degree during a pandemic, can’t find the patience for online dating, and are realizing living alone means discovering what bills to pay as you go.
Hosted By Ranen Reed, a recent university graduate who always manages to bite of more then she can chew. She tries to have somewhat meaningful conversations while attempting to avoid her quarter life crisis. Follow her and her friends try to keep their sh*t together and survive their 20s during the 2020s.
An episode that was a year in the making, this week we have part 1 with the queen of the multi-hyphenates Jamila Pomeroy. In this episode, we timeline her journey from pastry chef to a writer, actress, model, and editor-in-chief. We discuss how we’re learning to make our hustle a healthier hustle.
We also talk about:
How Jamila’s autoimmune disease diagnosis lead her to become a writer
Why she started her magazine the Avocado Toast Post
The importance of following your intuition
The good and the bad of deadline pressure
