Episode 2: Some of the Rest of the Story...
Someone posted that they googled, “What happened to Pete Briscoe?” Ha, seriously! If you were to google that, you would find a video from March 31, 2019. This is the service where my wife Libby and I shared with our church of 28 1/2 years that we were leaving the ministry. We loved our church and it was incredibly difficult to go. On that video I shared what I felt I could at the time: in episode 2 of Kindavangelical, I want to share more of the story.
I’m telling you this because this journey is one of the reasons I no longer think of myself as an evangelical. Many of us find ourselves in this spiritual limbo because of life experiences that mark us and make us question what we have always believed. This is what happened to me.

Episode 1: The House - with guest Jared Byas [Premiere Episode]
In my first episode of Kindavangelical I’m going to paint a picture for you, not with acrylics, but with a handful of words. My picture is a metaphor and when you hear it you will instantly know if Kindavangelical is for you, or not.
Then I’m going to talk with Jared Byas. Jared served as a local pastor and adjunct professor for almost ten years before launching The Bible for Normal People Podcast with Dr. Peter Enns, an organization committed to bringing the best in biblical scholarship to everyday people.
