Through a series of conversations and segments, Kindness Uprising discusses being a classical liberal in a new MAGA reality. Instead of buying into the fear and hate, we hope to look at today's challenges with everyday ways to be kind. A cross between political analysis and informed humane discussion, our hope is to try to increase the value of human life by discussing active and conscious kindness.
In our season 2 finale, Kind Up looks at one of the most difficult topics - why we hate. We talk to Linda, Licensed Counselor, about hate; and specifically, the hate being felt by one of the most targeted groups--LGBTQAI folks. Instead of reliving trauma, we look for solutions to questions like how to survive when targeted, how to not fall into it yourself and why this is particularly tough when its coming from your government. This episode including voices from within the LGBTQAI to share their experiences and ideas.
