Hi!
I'm Anastasia Ellis and welcome to King to Be! I'm a pop singer-songwriter originally from the Twin Cities, MN. This is a podcast where I share my thoughts, experiences, and opinions of life. I'm creating this podcast for my older self to look back on and reminisce. I would love to have you on my journey and help create a community of people that are on a journey of stepping into their "King", the best versions of ourselves.

In this episode, I go on a bit of a rant but make an important point that you can't always be available to everyone all the time. This ends up draining you and hurting your relationships in the long run.

Healing
In this episode, I talk about the journey of my healing. Navigating my down days can be a struggle but pushing off your emotions will only have it show up in other areas of your life. Sometimes at a time that's not so convenient. In my eyes healing is a constant and never ending journey that gets easier with repetition. Sometimes you think you're healed and then you get triggered in a down moment. Accept your process and pay attention to your thoughts and emotions to catch those moments before you break down.

Evolving Rant
In this episode, I was inspired by a video on YouTube from the channel Evolving Spiritually. I talk about how I'm seeing signs that are showing me my dreams are attainable but I need to remember not to compare my journey to another's.

Edit The Plan When Necessary
In this episode, I'm just waking up and realizing how tired and burnt out I'm getting from work and creating this podcast at the same time. Listen to how I come to the conclusion of, "sometimes, you gotta edit the plan." Trying to do everything at once isn't possible. We're not super humans. It's time to be more gentle and realistic with ourselves. Smaller steps, undivided focus on one thing at a time, and most importantly listen to what your body's telling you.

Parent Traits: What I See In Myself
In this episode, I talk about how I identify toxic traits in myself. We are the people we hang around. We only attract what we put out into the universe. A common quote, " Monkey see, monkey do." In what ways are you like your parents, guardians, family members, or even friends? What parts of that are you proud of and which do you hold shame? Where are you still repeating another's toxic patterns?
