Each week Kirbe Schnoor sits down with bestie Lizzy Bentley to talk about everything that appeals to her most. Fashion, food, music, art, rodeo and Western culture — they cover it all, while giving you a behind-the-scenes look at their lives, favorite places, and things to do in Fort Worth. New guests join them on every episode to weigh in on the topics of the week, play games, and share their stories.
This World Could Use a Little More Country with Josh Abbott
One of our favorite Texas country artists helps us kick off Season 2!
For our first episode of 2023, we met up with Josh Abbott before he and the band took the stage at Billy Bob’s Texas (https://billybobstexas.com)— where we recorded from the green room! We talked to Josh about how it feels to play the world's largest honky-tonk, the birth of the Josh Abbott Band (https://www.joshabbottband.com) and their years at Texas Tech, his biggest inspirations as an artist, career milestones, the JAB Cares (https://www.jabcares.org)foundation and what’s up next. We also compare notes from our time in Vegas at the NFR (the Super Bowl of Rodeo, where we saw JAB play in December).

Hitting the High Notes with Pat Green
Our pal Pat Green showed up in his dad uniform to catch up with us before the holidays! He talks family, what he loves about living in Fort Worth and, of course, his long career as a singer-songwriter — how it's evolved through the years, being on the road, his biggest inspirations, favorite songs and more.

World Champs with NCHA’s Julia Buswold
From November 14 to December 10, the NCHA (National Cutting Horse Association) (https://www.nchacutting.com/) is calling Will Rogers Coliseum home, and throughout 3 weeks of competition during the World Championship Futurity, there’s more than just top horses and riders stepping foot on the grounds. People from all over travel to watch the futurity, as well as take part in the activities, shopping and festivities. Top vendors make their way to set up their booths and give an intimate Christmas shopping experience.
NCHA Foundation Director Julia Buswold discusses the competition, as well as the foundation and this year’s offerings. From the standout show Yellowstone to Mini Moos, we hit the high notes of the final weeks of the Futurity, and they have something for everyone!
Celebrity cutting isn’t out of the question for Kirbe and Lizzy, but that will have to wait until next year (to hopefully give us time to become cutters… and celebrities)!
