Kiri Cullen brings you everyday people with awe-inspiring stories. Kiri aims to illustrate what the guests have experienced, sharing their challenges and obstacles along the way combined with demonstrating how they've managed them. She will also endeavour to tie these stories in topically by syncing with the various awareness days that we have throughout the calendar year. If this podcast helps/inspires one person per story, our job is done. Enjoy :)

World Alzheimer's Month is the international campaign from Alzheimer's Disease International that takes place every September. Today, I speak to Tess Cheng who is a certified health and wellness coach and who has a Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University; about how brain health and lifestyle choices could potentially have a drastic effect on delaying the signs of Alzheimer's and, up for discussion, potentially even preventing it. We will discuss how people can consider their brain more when trying to eat healthily, sleep better and exercise to help reduce the risk of cognitive decline as we age.
I think this is a really important discussion because Alzheimer's diseases is a debilitating condition with no cure currently. This podcast episode will hopefully inspire and help people live a healthier lifestyle not only for their bodies but for their brain health too. For more info on Tess, go to: www.glowithtess.com

Psoriasis Awareness Month with Jade Morrell
August is Psoriasis Awareness Month. Being one of the most uncommon illnesses, psoriasis effects over 20,000 individuals every single year. I sit down with Jade this month who talks openly about how she manages this skin condition and the challenges she has faced since being diagnosed in her 20s. In this podcast episode, we hope to raise awareness of psoriasis, break down some of the stigma attached and discuss how care, treatments and lifestyle can make a huge difference. International Day of Yoga with Michelle
International Day of Yoga was on 21st June this year and this podcast episode celebrates it. Yoga is a wonderful form of exercise and relaxation, sometimes misunderstood and misrepresented, but Michelle and I hope to tackle some of these obstacles and go back to basics. Michelle is a yin yoga teacher and has been for many years, and we talk about her journey into yoga and how it has drastically changed over the years and how now she is helping others with their journeys. Above all, we hope we can make yoga accessible to everyone and we finish the pod with a yoga pose we can all try! An episode not to be missed, enjoy!
