With weekly episodes that she records from everywhere like outside, in her car, or could even be the grocery store, cause she stay mic’d up OK! When inspiration strikes, the mic comes out anywhere! All episodes have some sort of lesson learnt and some kind of guide to help you along on your journey.    Decisions. Decisions. If you don’t make a decision, life will make one for you. Let’s get into it… We all are faced with decisions we need to make no matter how big or small, and sometimes we get so caught up in wanting to make the right decision… that we end up not making any decision at all. In this episode we talk about the importance of just making a decision. There’s no such thing as a wrong decision when we have God backing us up. Making decisions is hard… but are they really???    Homebody SZN: Creating A Safe Space

   It’s Homebody Season! And what about it! After the new year, we lock in on what we want to focus on most and what we feel is best for us. No more outside… at least for right now…In this episode we get into what it really means to be home and how we can tend to take it for granted. I could have been gone all weekend but at the end of the day…I’m trying to get back to the house OK! We also talk about the importance of creating and finding a safe space for ourselves as we grow and evolve into the person we were always meant to be. Having a space that brings out our creativity and makes us inspired to want to share and create is also very important and a key note we all need to make sure we acquire. Everybody doesn’t have excess to this space either, unless you want them to. Physical space and personal space. We talk, learning to discern who can be around us and who can’t.    Stuck In a Box (Perspective Shift)

   I want to talk about love… God has other plans. We are talking about remaining limited in our ability to see other perspectives and to escape from our own limiting beliefs. In this episode we talk about remaining stuck in a box that the devil has us trapped under. He doesn’t want us to see other perspectives so he deceives us to keep us feeling pressure, anxiety, and other negative attributes that we have the power to overthrow. We have a choice to stay stuck in a box or to fight our way out. I don’t know about yall but I want out…I’m not trying to stay inside that box any longer.    Why Comparing You 2 You Won't Change the Future

   Past, Present, and Future. The lines aren’t blurred. These are all different versions of who we are and who we’re going to be. Going into this episode we got into the comparison of ourselves and what we wish was going on in our lives today. No amount of comparison is going to change the future and no amount of comparison is going to bring peace to the present. We get into what will really bring us to our future selves and what won’t. It goes a little like this… what we do today will bear the fruit of tomorrow, and what we worry about today will be the destruction of tomorrow. The only thing that can give us the results we want in the future is what we decide to do today and everyday after that, leading us closer and closer.    It Ain't on Me

   Love you first so you don’t resent them later! Hey my KK’s we’re back and getting right back into it this week. We all need some burden management. If you feel like you are classified to others as an “over-carer” and you see yourself trying to fix other people’s problems before your own then this episode is definitely for you. We dive right into what we really should be doing with other people’s problems, especially when we haven’t taken care of ourselves first. We give insight on the google definition of resentment vs the worldly definition. This is an important one because we don’t want to go through life trying to find solutions for everybody else and not taking time for our own, then eventually resenting them in the future for it unintentionally.    Welcoming New Friendships 101

   Hey my beautiful people. In Today’s episode of KIRK I open up talking a little about my day and how I was feeling… which wasn’t great, but it gets better. I go into speaking about friendships. Relationships in general, and the importance of people and who you allow in your space. Let’s STOP letting society tell us that it’s better off to be alone than with others! This was something I really had to learn, especially as I age and grow into the best version of me. I talk about how we need asset relationships to help us flourish and grow and also about how it’s okay to outgrow friendships and go your separate ways when it’s no longer serving you and or adding value into your life.    The Secret Sauce to It All

   WE SO LOCKED IN!! Y’all it’s that season, I’m happy I’m content, nobody can tell me Nothing! I used to tell myself not to get too excited when I’m in my mode because I felt like if I did it would be taken away from me… But No more of that! And you don’t need to be doing that either. We are still humble in our upbringing but we are not quiet about it. If anything we are going to share it with others and let them in on the secret sauce. This was me on today’s episode of the pod. We talk, speaking with ourselves and asking ourselves the right questions, and what those questions might look like. We also speak about habits and purpose and how that all ties together.    Dealing with Pressure in the New Year

   Hey my beautiful KK’s! It is now 2024, the beginning of another 365 and we are already going at, speaking about pressure and expectations. I feel like we all get like this during this time of the year, a New Year. We feel like we have to go head first in all things we want to do but that’s not the truth. I can back that up by telling you to look at your past years, because I'm sure you did the same thing, tried to go in head first in all things but probably didn’t get very far. Don’t do the same thing over and over again and expect it to produce different results…aka… don’t jump in too quickly in the new year like you do every year and risk a quick burn out and feel like crap for months because you’re wondering where it all goes wrong. This is what we are getting into on today's episode. I was close to going in head first and woke up January 1st feeling that pressure, then everything in the rest of my day seemed to go terrible as well. It wasn’t the best feeling but once I sat and talked/thought it out I came up with a few helpful and promising solutions as to why I was feeling that way and how it could help others as well.     Embracing change and Welcoming a New Era

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS MY KK’S! It’s been a transformative year and I feel like we can all agree. I ain’t the only one who's had a few epiphanies this year, but they sure didn’t go unnoticed. This Episode we are talking lessons, which I compiled a list of 10 lessons that I learned throughout my teen years and this year alone. I turned 20 this year, I lost friends, I left school, I went through a dark period where I had constant anxiety/panic attacks, and I had a handful of more positive experiences as well, which I got into in this episode.     Uno Reversing the Day

    Let’s chat about bad moments…moments, not days! Soon as something goes wrong during the day we deem the whole day a bad one. When really it was just a bad moment. That’s all it is. A moment in time when things started to not go right. Things started to shift. Even worse … you don’t even know the reason why. All you can say is you’re just not feeling it and that you were thrown off. When things don’t go as planned our first instinct is to shut everything down including ourselves. What they don’t tell you is that’s exactly when you need to keep going, try again, try something different, and don’t stop. That’s where I was today. Having the best day and things took a turn right when I thought they were going to be good. Right when I was about to hop on the KIRK pod and chat to all you lovely peoples. I got overwhelmed with the thoughts in my head about everything I did and still needed to do. I couldn’t focus on what was right in front of me. I spent too much of my time trying to fill my time instead of letting one thing come and go as I should have. But I fixed that problem and am still working on it every given day. We aren’t what we do. We are human beings, not human doing. I go into deeper detail and I close off with some much needed clarity that you all may need today. Let’s grow together, tune in.     When the devil wants your God given Vision

    What I did when the Devil tried to deter me from my God Given Vision. The devil is working overtime honey but guess what… God Works harder! And more efficient.
