#80 – in conversation with Kosovar visual artist, Doruntina Kastrati.
Doruntina Kastrati works with oral histories passed down and collected from family or community members or found in the context of the city and geography she lives and works in. She primarily creates installations and large scale sculpture supported by video and sound through a process of site-responsive research.
On the podcast she shares her experience of representing Kosovo at the 60th Vennice Biennale with the extraordinary installation The Echoing Silences of Metal and Skin currated by Erëmirë Krasniqi.

Bartek - a cinephile, film scholar and film curator shares his daily routine as the main organiser of the largest festival of Polish cinema outside Poland.
You will receive insider recommendations for the 21st edition of the festival, featuring a unique selection of competition films, as well as a rich retrospective programme devoted to the 2026 cultural patron, Andrzej Wajda.
filmPOLSKA is a festival organised yearly by the Polish Institute in Berlin. The 21st edition take place from 9th till 16th of September in various cinemas in Berlin and Potsdam.

Fighting the Moscow heritage with Natasha Konradova
#76 – in conversation with academic researcher and cultural historian Natasha Konradova.
Natasha began her career as a passionate journalist, travelling across remote regions of Russia and speaking with people. In 2014, following the annexation of Crimea, she and her family decided to leave Moscow and settled in Berlin.
Since 2022, she has been active in a human rights organisation, running various educational programs for youngsters, who want to learn about the unprocessed Soviet past through oral history and personal stories.
