005 - Craig Webb from Countrywide Coatings & Insulation and Plastic Free Sea's Worldwide
Welcome to episode 5, where we welcome Craig Webb from Countrywide Coatings & Insulation.
Energy efficiency has been a regular theme in all of our episodes so far, and Craig's business helps residential and commercial buildings become more energy efficient through different types of insulation and exterior wall coatings.
Spray Foam Insulation is a big topic of conversation in the insulation industry at the moment, and Craig talks about the 'elephant in the room' with a great deal of transparency and technical knowledge.
We also discuss an initiative that Craig set up in 2017 when he lived in the south of Spain, called Plastic Free Seas Worldwide. It involves cleaning our seas and beaches of plastic and is now widely supported in both Spain and the UK. Check them out on Facebook and Instagram. Get hold of Craig or one of his team at https://countrywidecoatings.co.uk/ . They are currently offering FREE loft inspections to all Landlords.

Welcome to episode 4 of The Knock Knock Property Podcast.
In this episode we welcome Darrel Kwong from DWK Consultancy.
Darrel has over 26 years of experience in the lettings industry, and he specialises in landlord and lettings legislation.
He offers extensive training to landlords, letting agents and local authorities in an industry that has over 700 pieces of legislation. This episode offers a whistle stop tour of some of the most important pieces of legislation and some important changes that we might see in the coming years.
If anything, this episode highlights the importance of instructing a good letting agent to act on your behalf. There are so many ways a self managed landlord can slip up if they do not do things in the correct manner.

Welcome to episode 3.

We welcome back regular features such as 'Matt's joke of the week' and 'Ben's bug bear' followed by a rant about inflation, and right at the end we chat football as Matt takes great delight in Southampton's recent demise in the FA Cup to Grimsby Town (we did say we would go off piste from time to time)
