Knock On’s and Nonsense is a grassroots rugby podcast that celebrates the chaos, camaraderie, and questionable decision-making that makes local rugby what it is.
Hosted by a group of lads who’ve lived it – from muddy pitches and missed tackles to clubhouses and post-match debates – this show dives into everything grassroots rugby.
Expect honest opinions, proper banter, a few knock-ons (literally and metaphorically), and the kind of conversations you only usually hear after training… with a beer in hand.
Predictions, questionable opinions and the usual nonsense!
This week on Knock Ons & Nonsense, we’re putting our rugby knowledge (or lack thereof) to the test with our predictions for the week ahead. Who’s got their finger on the pulse, and who’s chatting absolute rubbish? There’s only one way to find out.
Of course, it wouldn’t be Knock Ons & Nonsense if we actually stayed on topic. Things inevitably take a little detour, the conversation goes wayward, and the nonsense levels rise exactly as you’d expect.
Get comfy, join the chaos, and see if our predictions are as wild as the conversation itself.

Peachy needs to get back behind the screen.....
Peachy decided it was time to creep out from behind his laptop and crash this episode of the Knock On’s & Nonsense Podcast… because apparently, we can’t have one peaceful episode!
Don’t worry, though, he didn’t stick around for long and eventually retreated back to his natural habitat behind the screen.
With the usual nonsense firmly intact, we still get stuck into all things rugby, bringing you the opinions, debates and chat you’ve come to expect.
Rugby, ridiculousness and a surprise Peachy appearance. What more could you want?

We’ve had some correspondence… and frankly, we’re delighted anyone wrote back.
So, pull up a chair, crack open a beer and join us for another gloriously unofficial rugby catch-up. We tackle the season hold-ups, private-school rugby and all the usual questions nobody has quite managed to answer yet.
Expect strong opinions, questionable insight, a bit of rugby gossip and the sort of chat that would normally be confined to the bar after training. No tactical whiteboards, no corporate spin, just rugby, banter and a couple of cold ones.

Valkyrie
This week on Knock On’s and Nonsense… welcome to The Valkyrie 🫡
The lads dive into all sorts of chaos as we wrap up after the end of season Social!
We chat end-of-season awards, opposition walk overs, relive stories from tour, and somehow… another wife swap conversation finds its way into the episode again 👀
There’s also a surprise call with one of our favourite celebs, a few questionable opinions, and the usual rugby clubhouse energy throughout.
As always, absolutely no structure… just knock ons and nonsense.

The Audio One
This week’s episode of Knock On’s and Nonsense is audio only… and for good reason.
Turns out, trying to get all fancy with cinematic filming might’ve been a step too far for us, but you live and learn!
We’re back doing what we do best though, chatting through the end of the season, reliving the highs (and lows), and handing out our end-of-season awards.
There’s also a look back at the chaos of the coach trip… plus a bit of unexpected singing thrown in for good measure...
Less Hollywood, more nonsense. Enjoy.

Whats Victoria got to say about Josh?
This week on Knock On’s and Nonsense, we’re diving into the chaos and comedy of our favourite away coach trips.
From questionable decisions to unforgettable moments, we relive the stories that only seem to happen when the team’s on tour… and a few beers are flowing.
Speaking of beers, there’s plenty more of those involved again this week, and things take a turn when Victoria sends in a voice note exposing one of Josh’s finest (or worst) after-drinking shows!
Expect laughs, stories you probably shouldn’t tell in public, and the usual nonsense.
Hit play… if you dare.

Boxing, Booze and Rugby Bedlam
This week on Knock On’s and Nonsense, we’re back with more chaos, stories, and unfiltered rugby culture at its finest.
From boxing talk to rugby stories that probably should never be told publicly, this episode dives into the madness that happens both on and off the pitch.
And this one gets personal… our producer Peaches stepped into the ring for a white collar boxing match, and let’s just say, it didn’t disappoint. We break down the build-up, the fight night energy, and what it’s really like when someone from behind the scenes becomes part of the action.
Expect laughs, questionable decisions, proper sport chat, and the usual nonsense you’d expect from the team.
If you like rugby, boxing, and a bit of chaos, you’re in the right place.

All Snug, in the Snug
Broadcast straight from Cambridgeshire’s smallest micro pub, The Snug in St Ives!
In this episode, we pull up a seat and dive into the latest results, break down the big talking points, and have a proper chat about that all-important yellow card. Expect honest opinions, a few laughs, and the kind of rugby conversation you only get in a pub setting.
We also shine a light on some of our favourite supporters, sharing stories, moments, and the characters who make grassroots rugby what it is.
It’s rugby, community, and a pint-side perspective, all snugly packed into one episode.

Our Redemption
We’re back at The Cross Keys… and somehow, they’ve actually let us in again!
This week on Knock On’s and Nonsense, we’re talking all things rugby, from what’s been happening on the pitch to a few personal wins off it that deserve a shout.
We also dive into one of our favourite topics yet… the quirkiest rugby clubs we’ve come across. From strange traditions to downright bizarre setups, there are some absolute gems in grassroots rugby.
As always, expect a mix of rugby chat, sideline stories, and the usual nonsense that comes with it.
Grab a pint and enjoy

The Retake
This week on Knock On’s and Nonsense, we’re running it back… properly this time. After celebrating the weekend’s win a little too enthusiastically, we decided the original recording might have been more chaos than content – so here’s The Retake.
We get stuck into the value of utility players in rugby, debate who actually deserves the title, and why every team secretly relies on one.
There’s also a big update on Duncan’s unexpected weight-loss journey, plus a few more stories from the sidelines, questionable team decisions, and the usual nonsense that seems to follow us around the club.

How did we get a second episode?
How did we get a second episode? Honestly… we’re just as surprised as you are.
So we did what we do best. Grabbed a beer, shared a few stories, name-checked a handful of players (whether they deserved it or not), and stayed completely unapologetic in the process.
This week we’re talking AI pictures, firmly shutting down certain Scotland conversations, and diving headfirst into a topic close to all our hearts… proper clubhouse-level sh*t chat.
It’s grassroots rugby, dodgy takes, big laughs and the kind of nonsense you only hear after the final whistle.
Strap in. Episode two is somehow here.

Pints, Passes & 6 Nations Pandemonium
This week on Knock On’s and Nonsense, we cover absolutely everything rugby was meant to be and a few things it definitely wasn’t.
We break down the latest Six Nations drama, big performances, bigger controversies, and the moments that had us shouting at the telly. Then, as always, things take a turn…
From the realities of bodily fluids on a muddy pitch (yes, it’s as grim as you remember), to the questionable hygiene standards of communal baths, we relive the glamorous side of grassroots rugby that never makes the highlight reels.
And of course, no episode would be complete without ranking the true cornerstone of the sport: post-match grub. What actually hits after 80 minutes?
It’s rugby chat at its rawest, honest takes, proper banter, and stories that are probably best kept in the clubhouse.
