The 2024 Charities - Knutsford Beer Festival
In 2023 , we had over 1,000 visitors to the festival and we raised a record £12,000 for charity! Collectively, the beer festival has raised almost £50,000 since it began in 2014. Part of how we raise so much money is to have sponsors for the event.
This year we are raising money for the Stable Minds (https://www.stable-minds.co.uk/) mental health charity and Hope Central (https://hopecentral.org.uk/) food bank.
Huge thanks to all our sponsors that support us every year, we couldn’t raise money without you. Thank you!

The first 150 days as Knutsford Mayor
In this community podcast, I speak with the current town mayor councillor and first citizen of Knutsford, Andrew Malloy.
Andrew is now in his ninth year at Knutsford Town Council (http://www.knutsfordtowncouncil.gov.uk) and was duly elected Mayor in May 2019.
He’s married, he’s the father of two and his near-legendary omnipresence has certainly set him up as one of Knutsford’s most recognised community champions
In this podcast, he talks about the first 150 days in office, the challenges he faces and what he hopes to achieve in his position as mayor and of course as an elected councillor.

You know, if we made that clear, you'd just lose so much flavour. So for beers like this, you know, you've got to have, they've got to be pretty hazy to hold on to. A people less suspicious of that now, you know, like back in the day, like five years ago, maybe a bit longer, people just thought maybe it's a bit off that kind of thing. […]
