Kollectively Vigilant: Law & Crime is a true crime analysis podcast examining how justice systems function — and how they fail.
Hosted by Dr. D, a professor and lawyer, alongside Sam, an educator and counselor, the show analyzes real criminal cases through legal frameworks, criminology, and psychology.
Each episode moves beyond narrative into structure: court procedure, institutional design, prosecutorial decisions, evidentiary standards, and systemic breakdowns across jurisdictions.
This is not banter-driven storytelling. It is structured analysis of crime, law, and power.
Hindi- Ep-8-Halderson Family Murders: Ek Parivaar, Do Bete Aur Do Laapata Parents
The Halderson Family Murders
July 2021. Wisconsin, America.
Bart aur Krista Halderson ek seemingly ordinary American couple the. Unke do bete the — Chandler aur Mitchell. Ek normal parivaar, ek normal zindagi. Lekin July ke ek weekend ke baad sab kuch badal gaya.
Bart aur Krista achaanak gayab ho gaye.
Kaha gaya ki dono Fourth of July weekend ke liye apne cabin gaye the. Lekin phir woh ghar kyun nahi laute? Unse contact kyun nahi ho paa raha tha?
Kya dono apni marzi se kahin chale gaye the? Kya unke saath koi haadsa hua tha? Ya phir is seemingly ordinary family ki zindagi mein kuch aisa chal raha tha jiske baare mein baahar ki duniya kuch nahi jaanti thi?
Jaise-jaise police ne investigation shuru ki, kuch baatein aisi saamne aane lagi jinka koi seedha jawaab nahi tha.
Kollectively Vigilant: Law & Crime ki is nayi Hindi true crime series ke pehle episode mein hum Halderson family ko jaanenge, Bart aur Krista ke mysterious disappearance ki kahani samjhenge, aur dekhenge ki kaise ek missing-person investigation dheere-dheere ek behad disturbing criminal case mein badalne lagi.
Yeh kahani sirf ek crime ki nahi, balki parivaar, bharose, raaz aur un jhoothon ki hai jo kabhi-kabhi hamare sabse kareebi rishton mein chhupe hote hain.
Main hoon Dr. D, professor aur lawyer. Kollectively Vigilant par hum true crime ke zariye law, crime aur human psychology ko samajhne ki koshish karte hain.

Ep-19- Season- 2 When Revenge Turns to Filicide | The Suchana Seth Case
In January 2024, India was shocked by the arrest of Bengaluru tech entrepreneur Suchana Seth, accused of killing her four-year-old son in a Goa apartment and travelling toward Karnataka with his body concealed in her luggage.
But this is not a story usually associated with postpartum psychosis. Instead, the circumstances raise a much darker question: can a parent kill a child in order to punish the other parent? Against the backdrop of a bitter marital breakdown and conflict over the father’s access to his son, the case has drawn disturbing parallels with Medea, the ancient Greek tragedy in which a mother destroys what her husband loves most in order to make him suffer.
I first covered the Suchana Seth case just days after launching my YouTube channel in January 2024. In this episode, I return to the case, the evidence, the alleged motive, and the uncomfortable question at its centre: when the child becomes the weapon in a war between parents.

Episode 19- Season 2 Armin Meiwes: The German Cannibal on Trial | Murder, Consent & a Life Sentence | Part 3
In the final part of the Armin Meiwes story, the case moves from the farmhouse in Wüstefeld to the German courts. Could a man be convicted of murder when his victim had voluntarily agreed to be killed? We follow Meiwes through two extraordinary trials, the legal battle over consent, the overturning of his first conviction, and the decision that ultimately sent him to prison for life. We also examine what happened to Meiwes after the trials, where he is today, and how German law finally answered one of the most disturbing questions raised by this case: can anyone legally consent to their own killing?
