Kor•ology: The Podcast - 09 - Our Top Ten Kor Values
Olivia and Amanda have spent the last 8 months talking about the values that make a person emotionally healthy, well rounded, and productive. In today's episode, the girls introduce you to the top ten values they've adopted into their lives, and why you should think they're important, too.
Your values are like your compass. They're what you check yourself against when interacting with society and facing uncertain situations. Keeping your values close allows you to behave in line with your most authentic self, and that's definitely what we're all about.

Kor•ology: The Podcast - 08 - Taking Accountability For Yourself
Olivia and Amanda dive into what it means to be accountable and what it is in your life you need to be accountable for. Accountability is not just simply shifting the blame for any given situation onto yourself. It's more about taking responsibility for what you allow in your circle of control, and growing from things that are outside your control (and learning to forgive yourself along the way).

Kor•ology: The Podcast - 05 - Asking For And Accepting Help
Knowing when you need to ask for help is not easy, and needing help is sometimes seen as a sign of weakness. In episode 5, Amanda and Olivia talk about times when they have needed to ask for help, even when it was difficult. It's okay to need a push every once in a while. It's okay to ask those close to you to lend a helping hand, and it shouldn't be seen as weakness. Choose good people to surround yourself with who won't be quick to judge when you feel you can barely keep your head above water - and be ready to do the same when you see those you love struggling. No one should have to go through anything alone - have the courage to ask for (and the humility to accept) help.

Kor•ology: The Podcast - 04 - Self Love v. Self Care
Olivia sits down with guest host and fellow Kor•ology member Kim Adams to talk about the importance of self care, how self care relates to self love, and what those two actually mean. Kim shares a bit of her backstory along with her journey to loving herself for who she is.
If you can't love yourself and care for yourself, how do you expect to be able to love and care for others? Putting yourself first doesn't have to be a selfish act, and the Kor girls walk you through improving your mindset so that you feel deserving of any attention you give yourself.

Kor•ology: The Podcast - 03 - Trusting Others When It's Difficult

Who we should trust, when we should trust, why it's so hard to trust - we even go into a bit of introspection and discuss issues with our own intuition and whether or not we can trust ourselves. Trust is such a huge part of being authentic. Have a listen at how we've learned to overcome barriers with letting people in - and letting people help.

Kor•ology: The Podcast - 02 - Becoming Your Most Authentic Self
Amanda and Olivia discuss authenticity and what it means to be genuine. Authenticity isn't about being an open book, it isn't about over-sharing with everyone, and it isn't even about giving every person you encounter the same experience. It's about discovering your core values and being true to them with every little thing you do and every interaction you have - including with yourself.

Kor•ology: The Podcast - 01 - What is Kor•ology?
Welcome to the first episode of the Kor•ology Podcast! We are happy you are here! Today's podcast is an introduction to our hosts, Amanda and Olivia, and what brought us together to create an outlet for supporting women.
Our mission is to help women (and humans in general) on their journey to become their most authentic selves. We are not, and will never claim to be, mental health professionals. We are regular people, just like you, who sometimes need to hear that others are going through the same struggles as you. We will talk about the things that no one likes to say out loud. We want our words to encourage you to think about yourself in a more positive light so that, in turn, you can use your positivity to lift others.
If one drop can start a ripple, this podcast is our attempt at making waves.
