   King Tut's Beard

Disaster strikes at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo - will the curse of Tutankhamen continue? ... This audio drama has been plagued with difficulties. From software failure to eventual equipment failure costing me a few thousand pounds. I was undecided whether I should continue. Considering the subject matter, I was spooked! Should I even try? Six months later, I braved losing my beloved new piece of equipment, uncertain of what would happen. Well, it went fine... So far... This fictional story is based on a true story (https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/jan/22/tutankhamuns-beard-glued-back-on-say-egyptian-museum-conservators). " ...The beard on the burial mask of King Tutankhamun, the boy pharaoh who ruled Egypt from 1332 to 1323 B.C., was hastily glued back on with epoxy after being knocked off during cleaning, according to conservators at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo ..."
