Predikan: döm inte!
Denna lördags text är hämtad från Jesu bergspredikan (Matt 7:1-8), och handlar om den allvarliga synden att döma sin nästa. Den som dömer sin nästa, säger Jesus, är som en som försöker ta ut en flisa ur sin nästas öga när han själv har en bjälke i sitt eget. Att döma sin nästa vittnar därför om en djup andlig omognad, okunskap om vem Gud är, samt rent ut sagt avguderi! Så länge en kristen förblir vid denna synd hindrar han eller hon Guds kärlek att flöda till sin nästa i sitt liv.

Predikan: att gå i helgonens fotspår
På alla helgons dag läser vi Herrens ord om att sätta honom framför allt (Matt 10:32-33; 37-38; 19:27-30). Helgonen är våra förebilder i detta. De är människor som vi, och det enda som skiljer dem från oss är deras totala överlåtelse till Herren. Genom att gå i deras fotspår kan vi efterlikna dem. För det behövs två saker: andlig träning samt förtröstan på Gud. Om detta handlar denna predikan.
