Kueen Talk: Trans, Black, and Unbreakable w/ Luc Bensimone (EP 93)
In this powerful episode of Kueen Talk, host Bear sits down with Luc Bensimon, a Black trans man, advocate, performer, and community leader, to discuss identity, resilience, and the power of showing up authentically. Luc opens up about his journey through drag, transitioning, family acceptance, faith, disability, and finding confidence in his truth. Together, they explore the realities of being trans and Black in America, the importance of therapy and chosen family, and the need for stronger support systems within marginalized communities. From advocacy work in Kansas to conversations around domestic violence, health awareness, and voting, Luc shares how his life experiences shaped his mission to create safer, more intentional spaces for queer people of color. This episode is a heartfelt conversation about healing, community, self-discovery, and the strength it takes to keep fighting for change.
