La palabra “seguir” es un término que se usa frecuentemente en nuestros días, especialmente en las redes sociales cuando se sigue a personajes populares por alguna razón en particular. Sin embargo, aun cuando seguramente la mayoría pueda entender lo que significa, la pregunta es, ¿sabes lo que significa seguir a Jesucristo? Posiblemente algunas ideas pueden venir a la mente las cuales deben ser, en algunos casos corregidas y en otras afirmadas, ya que no seguimos a Jesús a nuestra manera sino ha de ser a la manera que Él nos lo indica.

Los milagros se pueden volver un problema. Por un lado, Jesús nos pide que consideremos sus incomparables y numerosos milagros, ¡esto nos compromete!. Al deprimido Juan Bautista, por ejemplo, le envía un informe de señales milagrosas para que no tropiece en él. Pero, por otro lado, nos confunde nuestro apetito por milagros y la decepción que sentimos cuando Dios nos dice NO a un pedido de señal. Tal cosa ocurre en el texto bíblico que exponemos aquí. El lugar, la actitud, el propósito que imponemos a los milagros (a los que hemos recibido, a los que esperamos) es fundamental al momento de crecer saludablemente en la fe o de arrojarnos por el despeñadero de los falsos maestros, que abundan hoy.
