La Ronda Del Barrio podcast offers insight on community issues through stories and storytelling. At La Ronda, we don't claim to have solutions, but we believe in the constructive power of wrestling with issues in order to find them. In this metaphoric dance, we provide a space where we can weave beauty out of our disadvantages. Our first year shows the process of fine-tuning our purpose of community engagement through the exploration of immigrant issues like machismo, stories of frontier crossing, dealing with pity, and what it means to be an immigrant child. These experiences provide a glimpse of current cultural and social ideas impacting Latinos in our community. The opinions expressed during the episode do not necessarily reflect the views of Barrio Alegría.
In this episode of La Ronda, Daniel speaks to Annalis Ortega about her upcoming performance at the Library steps and her new role as SOP Coordinator.
