Lacking Wisdom is a podcast for people who love the gospel of Jesus Christ—but still have questions.
Hosted by two everyday Latter-day Saints, Zach Kidd and Zach Lundberg, this podcast is a weekly journey through the scriptures as we wrestle with the word of God in real time. We’re not scholars, historians, or theologians. We’re just two guys trying to understand the gospel better and live it more faithfully.
The name comes from James 1:5:
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God…"
Those words sparked the prayer that led to the Restoration through Joseph Smith. They also remind us that seeking understanding is part of discipleship.
Each episode, we explore passages from the Bible, Book of Mormon, and other Restoration scripture—asking questions, sharing insights, and talking honestly about what it means to follow Christ today. Sometimes we’ll find answers. Sometimes we won’t. But we believe that sincere seekers who ask God will be led to truth.
