Lacuna: Slow Burn

About Lacuna: Slow Burn

Imagine working for an agency so secretive you don't even know its name—or your own. You are a Mystery Agent. You answer to someone called Control. You have a suit, a blue tie, a pair of sunglasses, and a small metal button with a question mark on it. And cigarettes. Blue City is beautiful in the way noir films and dusty cathedrals are beautiful. It is decades behind the times, more a memory of a place that no longer is... and never was, really. You've been sent here to locate the Hostile Personality. Description, age, psychological profile, and criminal record to follow. Upon apprehension of the target, a team member must [text omitted], twist the button clockwise, count to 3, and make a wish. If all instructions are followed correctly the entity will instantly be transported to the Lacuna. Support this and my other projects at https://patreon.com/DonFathom (https://patreon.com/DonFathom)

   Taking a Break This Week

Greetings, Junior Agents This is Don Fathom, aka Control. We’re taking a break this week to catch up on a few things. And by we, I mostly mean me. A lot goes into editing and producing an episode of Lacuna Slow Burn. I’m going to take a little extra time so that I can improve the quality of future episodes and get everything back on a regular schedule starting next week. A big shout-out to all my volunteers, who I definitely did not coerce, kidnap, or brainwash into lending their voices to the show. My sympathies and condolences that the horrors of real life have caught up with you. We’re working on a plan to get you out of there, Agents, so hang on just a little longer… and if you see a mysterious black van approaching you, stop running so that we can ferry you off to a wondrous, magical place that is definitely not a clandestine detention center operated outside of any legal jurisdiction where you will be ruthlessly interrogated. A special shout-out to Other Don, who has joined our Patreon. I’m not a big fan of reality and contributions like this really help me to dedicate more of my life to the scifi fantasy noir horror mystery thriller that is Lacuna: Slow Burn. Junior Agents, you too can support this and other projects on Patreon. Join us as we expand our influence over the unsuspecting masses. You’ll get access to all my classified materials and a bunch of stuff I made up, because let’s be honest—it’s all the same thing, really. Discover things the public just isn’t ready to know.
