<p>Your health and wellbeing are a continuous investment.</p> <p>Take that in ☝️☝️☝️ Read it several times if you need to.</p> <p>I will tell you what goes wrong.</p> <p>For example, if you want to lose weight, you hire a trainer, but you don't get results as you don't want to change the foods you eat.</p> <p>You think that just because you are paying someone for an hour of time for a week you will lose weight.</p> <p>Wrong!</p> <p>Or instead of a trainer, you go on a diet (Cambridge, Keto, Atkins etc).</p> <p>But then what?</p> <p>You lose weight and then return to 'normal', then slowly watch your weight creep back on (with a little extra).</p> <p>It all starts with your mind and mindset.</p> <p>You will get better results with small consistent actions than you will in some short-term fad.</p> <p>You will also impact other elements of your life - relationships, work success, financial situation.</p> <p>Because you are committed to the one person in your life that truly matters. I know I spent so many years in a hurry... </p> <ul> <li>wanting an answer following an interview the same day; </li> <li>dying to hear back from a guy the day after we had been out or even met; </li> <li>wishing for a holiday to hurry up, so I could jump on that plane to somewhere warmer. </li> </ul> <p>I think it's part of growing up really - such a hurry not to be a child anymore that we actually forget there is no rush. </p> <p>Except if you live in a big city like <a href="https://www.youtube.com/hashtag/london">#London</a> ... kind of get used to the fast-paced lifestyle. </p> <p>But fast-paced and tight deadlines do not mean rushing.
