Podcast Overview

Hello, Dreamer! I'm Larissa and I am a real person, not AI. I know how it feels to be exhausted but unable to sleep because of anxiety. I wrote and recorded these stories to give my listeners something calm to think about. When our brains are engaged with a soothing story, it is easier to relax and fall asleep. I also wanted to remind us, myself included, of the beautiful and good things in life. Almost all of these stories are inspired by my own memories. I tend to write them from a young person's perspective, usually a young teen, as I have so many stories from that period of my life. They are safe for all ages, so you can share them with anyone you like. I have been told that the pace of my episodes makes them useful to those who are learning English. I'm glad they are helpful in any way! I hope and pray that these tales will bring you joy and peace, and thus a healthier, happier life! Love, Larissa Langston © 2026 Larissa Langston. Music at the Pavilion

Good evening, Dreamer! If you are looking for something soothing to help you fall asleep, you've found the right podcast. Tonight's tale is about a small town, where ice cream socials and band concerts bring everyone together on summer evenings. My stories are safe for all ages, nostalgic, and usually told from the perspective of a young person. All you have to do is listen, and you should find yourself drifting right off. If you are using this tale to help you learn English, it might help to use the transcript that is available on most podcast platforms. I'd like to thank Matt Bowers for my website, larissasmoonlittales.com and Mark Pottinger for help with tech. If you'd like to send me any suggestions, feel free to email me at larissasmoonlittales@gmail.com. Now, Dreamer! Time to fall asleep!

Love,

Larissa

Fireworks in the Bay

Good evening, Dreamer! I wrote tonight's story after being inspired by the sights and sounds of the fourth while being in a slightly unusual location. I wanted to take you to a beautiful bay, where the fireworks are reflected in the water around the boat, and the explosions echo off the walls of the cliffs. Though this might sound a bit exciting, I promise you, this story is written and recorded in such a way, that listening to it should help you fall asleep quickly. All my stories are safe for all ages so feel free to share them with anyone you like. I also have listeners who use these tales to help them learn English. The pace is quite slow, and there is a transcript available on most platforms to assist you with that. Thanks to Matt Bowers for my website larissasmoonlittales.com and Mark Pottinger for his help with tech. If you have any suggestions, please email me at larissasmoonlittales@gmail.com. Time to sleep, Dreamer!

Goodnight!

Larissa

The Longest Day of the Year

Good evening, Dreamer! Fall asleep tonight listening to a tale about the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. You'll be transported to an island paradise where you can spend the day kayaking, hiking and enjoying the beauty of nature. My tales are safe for all ages and designed to help you fall asleep, or return to sleep, if you wake up in the middle of the night. All you need to do is listen. These podcasts are usually written from the point of view of a young person and may seem a teeny bit nostalgic. Many of my listeners use these tales as an aid in learning English. For those of you, please know most of the podcast platforms will include a transcription that you may find helpful. Thanks to Matt Bowers for my website, larissasmoonlittales.com! Finally, I'd love to hear from you, if you have any suggestions. Please send me an email at larissasmoonlittales@gmail.com.

Goodnight,

Larissa

© 2026 Larissa Langston.
