<p>From my first year in the health &amp; beauty industry, when I drew up my first business plan, I knew that I wanted to own my own growing business one day. I knew that it had to involve people, but I was just not sure about the industry yet.&nbsp;<br><br>After completing my Somatology Qualification, I spent one contract on board the International Cruise Lines. There I got valuable experience not just in the Spa Industry, but further into business, growth and leadership. Although the leadership experience I gained there was not the type I wanted to pursue one day, it still gave me experience and grew me in the right direction.&nbsp;<br><br>I flew back to South Africa and then joined a 5 * Game Reserve in the Kruger National Park. Here my love for our wildlife and conservation sparked.&nbsp; This is where I gained more experience in the Spa Industry and again in the business/department development, growth and leadership, this time in a way that I truly resonated with and wanted to strive towards.&nbsp;<br><br>This is also where I met the person who sparked Positive Mindset in me. This handsome Game Ranger + Talented Wildlife Photographer&nbsp; later became my husband, and we moved to Johannesburg to pursue our different careers.&nbsp;<br><br>This is when I joined Dermology as they opened their doors for the first time. Over the next few years, I poured my heart and soul into this business as if it's my own. I dreamed BIG. I knew that the aesthetic industry is where I want to shoot my roots, grow my business and the people who forms part of it.&nbsp;<br><br>After 8 years of employment, loyalty, hard work and dedication, I finally bought the business and became the proud CEO &amp; Owner of Dermology. 8 months later, I opened my second branch. Something that was very big on my list of goals! Shortly thereafter more branches followed.&nbsp;<br><br>Today, Dermology is found throughout South Africa in 4 different locations. Each run by teams who have grown with me for many years and grew into their well deserved positions.&nbsp;<br><br>This is only the beginning for us.</p>
