Ep. 4 -10 Reasons Why and 17 Examples of How to Practice Self-Care Daily

When life gets hard, the first thing that goes out the window is self-care. All of a sudden it doesn’t seem as important to take care of yourself because of all the other things that require your time, money and energy.

What you will realize is that no matter how much the world seems to be falling apart, if you do not take care of yourself, you won’t be in a position to take care of anyone and anything that requires your attention. You will constantly feel depleted, exhausted and eventually you won’t have anything to give and this is why it makes sense and is imperative that you practice self-care daily.

Ep.3-Imposter Syndrome-What it is, the Impact it has & the cure to crushing it.

I want to say that self-doubt is absolutely normal even if you are a super confident person. There will always be someone who you think is prettier, smarter, more fit and seemingly more successful than you. No one is more critical of you than you, especially if you are a perfectionist or someone who aspires to be the best version of yourself. When you compare yourself to someone else it is a slippery and oftentimes dangerous slope. Stop getting in your own way. Don’t let imposter syndrome be your dream killer. Don’t let it stop you from showing up and giving the world what you have to offer. Focus on you girl!

Ep. 1 Quitting Your Day Job is Easier Said Than Done, But It Does Not Mean That It is Impossible

Provides information about the host, Christine Milano Sosa, why she started Latinas Rise and what listeners can get out of listening to this podcast.

Can you relate to not liking your job or wanting to feel more fulfilled in your career? Perhaps you have a dream of one day starting your own business. At what point do you make a choice to make it happen for yourself? Are you going to wait until your kids are grown? Or you have enough money in the bank? Sometimes we foolishly assume that we can put things off until later when the reality is, tomorrow is promised to no one. Or we feed ourselves the narrative that “we are too busy and there just isn’t enough time to get it all done”. There is never going to be a “perfect” time. If you really want out of that job that is making you miserable or not fulfilling you, then make today your day.
