Dr. Husel was acquitted of 14 bogus murder charges while a nurse in Tennessee was charged and convicted for making a mistake. Prosecutors, like Judges, are not your friends when their personal interests trump basic humanity. Pathetic conduct for personal gain. This story will outrage you and serve as a call to appoint Judges based upon merit & without political affiliation. Jane recovered from this sentencing nightmare and currently operates a successful business. Time to take political influences out of the process so that all of us as citizens are treated fairly. As a member of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Ethics Committee for over 25 years, I feel I have the authority to opine on this issue and to ask how we as lawyers should conduct ourselves when Justices of the US and Ohio Supreme Court cannot police themselves.
