SON OF A PREACHER MAN
Dammit, Aretha was right! 🙈 This is the second guest who is a PK. Maybe I have a type? So Silvanus stopped by The Den to discuss/debate what went wrong in our relationship. Although I’m sticking to my guns... for the most part, we had a fruitful conversation touching on predatory dating, recognizing and resisting trauma bonds, having compassion for our parents, and self-respect, among other things. Find out what culinary adventure almost got me beat down when I was a kid (Momma, this is your trigger warning) and how Silvanus used to try to pray the gay away. Maybe y’all can help me figure out why I keep dating people in Houston because atp I keep putting my hand in the fire. I got one more try in me, though. Houston be good to me 🥴 Oh, he sings, too. I love a creative so I included a clip of him performing. Y’all, tell me what you think. Enjoy!
