Jesse reflects on his football journey from Bassendean Junior Football Club through the Swan Districts development pathway, sharing the setbacks that shaped his career. He opens up about being overlooked, cut from Colts, missing a Colts Grand Final after playing 18 consecutive games and the challenges of competing while unknowingly dealing with anaemia.</p><p><br></p><p>Rather than walking away, Jesse committed to becoming the hardest worker on the track. That mindset earned him selection in the reserves, a league debut in his first senior year and ultimately established him as one of the WAFL's most consistent midfielders and leaders. James Jensen: Leadership Lessons from the SASR
