But when parents laugh and record these moments for clout, they validate unregulated media consumption and set their kids on a dangerous path.
We are having an uncomfortable conversation connecting this "harmless" sideline behavior to the devastating realities of teen pregnancy and premature fatherhood. You are supposed to be the gatekeeper of your child's character. Step up. If the parents refuse to parent, the coaches must step into the gap and bench the behavior immediately.
