Small Business Owners: Are you working IN or ON your business?
What are some of the signs that you're working IN your business instead of ON your business?
Welcome to the Leadership Rising Podcast! Coach and Guide today, Jim Urban is bringing the community of small businesses owners, entrepreneurs and solopreneurs together for this great discussion. Jim is joined by coaches Steve Seay and Rebecca Schleifer to talk about the challenges that business owners face.
Steve looks back to the beginning of his coaching business and reflects on the importance of working "IN" his business when he was asking himself these questions - "What am I doing now to create business? Who am I serving? How am I creating money today?"
Listen for this moment: "It can become a spiral. It's like telling a kid, with a limitless credit card, in a candy shop - you gotta stop buying candy. Sometimes when you've worked IN your business for a long period of time, you can only sustain that level of motivation and energy for so long. And that can be an opportunity to know it is time to dream bigger."
