Podcast Overview

One thing that my experience in HR has taught me is that, like most things in life, people leadership is not a single thing. It is more like... trail mix! And while leading requires a combination of "flavors," deconstructing it and finding the right ratio of each element is key to making sure we, as leaders, are authentic and purposeful. This is what Leadership TrailMix is all about: biweekly 5-10 minute reflections available on Spotify that I hope will inspire you to be a better version of yourself, not only for your team at work, but for everyone you cross paths with.

Ep. 60 - Management & Leadership & Self-Awareness

Management, leadership & the importance of self-awareness, emotions, and vulnerability, are some of the topics I chatted about with Margaret C. Andrews, global speaker, Founder of MYLO Center, instructor at Harvard University, and author of the book "Manage Yourself to Lead Others".

Ep. 59 - I Know Better or You Know Better?

I am a big fan of the show The Pitt which shows what happens in an ER over the spam of a whole shift. A recent episode put a pit (no pun intended) on my stomach about the risk of falling in the "I know better" trap, which all of us people leaders are constantly exposed to.

Ep. 58 - Leading & Listening Up & Shifting

In a chat that could have lasted much longer, coach, keynote speaker, and author Shed Shedletzky and I talked about what it means to be a leader, how to foster a culture with the conditions for people to feel safe and speak up, and even touched on what driving shift or an automatic car has to do with leadership.
