Darren Pang on NHL 27, Bobrovsky & the Leafs' New Look
<p>Nick Alberga & Jay Rosehill are joined by former NHL goaltender and longtime NHL analyst Darren Pang for a wide-ranging conversation.</p><br><p>First, Pang confirms the rumours—he and John Buccigross will be the new broadcast team for EA Sports NHL 27. Pang explains why he believes Darren Raddysh is an underrated addition who fills an important need on the blue line, and why fans shouldn't get too caught up in the contract. He also weighs in on the Leafs' decision to bring in Sergei Bobrovsky, calling it a worthwhile gamble that instantly adds credibility, stability, and presence in goal. Leafs Season Opener Set for September 29 ft. Darren Pang
<p>Nick Alberga & Jay Rosehill react to the Maple Leafs' 2026-27 season opener officially being set. Toronto will kick off the new campaign at Scotiabank Arena on September 29 against the Montreal Canadiens. The boys also weigh in on the Detroit Red Wings moving on from Steve Yzerman as general manager.</p><br><p>They then discuss Brandon Pridham officially joining the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he'll reunite with former Maple Leafs GM Kyle Dubas. The move comes nearly two months after Toronto parted ways with Pridham on May 17, ending his 12-year run with the organization. </p><br><p>The conversation continues with reports linking the Maple Leafs to former Bruins executive Evan Gold.
