A new research study has gone viral for warning of the dangers of “cognitive surrender,” when people blindly adopt AI results. Jeff talked to the study’s co-author, Steven Shaw of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. It turns out the scholar embraces AI in his own research, and believes that with careful adoption, the technology can improve education and boost learning. Although, he says, “there will be growing pains.”
