   If you are like me and you love seafood you can go onto my youtube channel and watch this episode on fresh seafood. There is nothing as delicious than buying seafood and then going home and cooking it, the best therapy in the WORLD! When I am stressed or anxious I cook and keep cooking until the feelings subside, and I don't think of anything else. I sit with Marco and eat what I have cooked and let things be what they are. Che sara sara is my motto. Let what will be, be in life, there is nothing you or I can do, only let it be, like the beatles song.

   Carmela's Cucina Povera a journey of self discovery and healing through Sicilian cooking

   Here's a little video on my first book available on Amazon. It's about my family their story of how food is the center of their life. Their recipes, and I share about each one with you. There is 77 recipes of Cucina Povera, I wrote the book just after both my parents died within 8 months of each other. I woke up at 5 o'clock each morning with a flow that I just did not want to finish, it felt that if I stopped I would forget about each one, the details especially. It was so important to me to share it with you, why? Each one sacrificed their lives for the future of their children and grandchildren, they came to Australia just after WW2 and worked. They worked and saved and more, always thinking about the future and planting seeds for the future generations to come. How can I explain to you who they are? By reading the book and finding out for yourself that way you can let me know what you think. I would love your feedback.
