Well, let's move on from Glastonbury for a minute because while it's the town in the triangle with the most lore by far, Somerset is also a now abandoned ghost town that had over 300 permanent residents in 1850 and its population was entirely sustained by the logging trade until it too suffered a collapse around the same time as Glastonbury's economy collapsed. According to one visitor who hiked through the area in recent years, Now all that remains of the town are the old one-room schoolhouse and a couple of stone cellars hidden off to the side of a forest service road. Another explorer posted to Facebook about their visit to Somerset, writing, quote, Most of Somerset and similar sites are on Green Mountain National Forest land, so access is generally allowed but remote and unmaintained.
