Hi friend — welcome to The P246 Podcast, the voice of Jesus Generation Church. Before you ever owned anything, you signed a lease — and your life is one. In this message, Lady Pastor Nicky Boadum opens the parable of the leased vineyard (Matthew 21:33–41) and walks through the terms of the lease called life: the earth is the Lord's and we are all tenants (Psalm 24:1); every lease has terms, and Eden saw the first eviction (Genesis 2–3); some leases end with a notice, like Belshazzar's — weighed and found wanting, evicted that very night (Daniel 5); some end with no notice at all, like the rich fool's (Luke 12); and the Owner will return to settle accounts for everything He entrusted to us — breath, family, gifts, opportunities (Matthew 25). But here is the mercy: the lease can be extended. Hezekiah wept, and God added fifteen years (2 Kings 20). Before your lease expires, be rich toward God.Jesus Generation (P246 Church) · Athens, Ohio · Join us Sundays, 10:30am–12:30pm · 726 East State Street#JesusGeneration #P246Churches #YouMatterToGod #onOurWayToAThousand #EmbracingHisPower #PursuingHisPresence #YouAreLoved #Ohio #AthensOhio🎙️ Jesus Generation | @P246Churches— Stay Connected —Watch on YouTube: https://youtube.com/@P246ChurchesWebsite: https://www.p246church.org/How can we pray for you? When Everything Feels Wrong: Faith Works in Imperfect Situations | Nana Boadum, PhD
Wrong city, wrong people, wrong time — and Jesus chose all of it on purpose. In this message from our Faith series, Pastor Nana Boadum opens John 4 and the woman at the well: Jesus "must needs go through Samaria," a place His people despised, to keep a divine appointment with a woman the world had written off. Faith works in imperfect situations: He goes where no one else will go to find you; He meets you in the middle of an ordinary day, not just on Sundays; faith will ask you to be vulnerable; your failures — even five of them — don't determine your future; He wants you real, not religious; and faith begins in worship — in spirit and in truth. Whatever looks wrong in your life right now is a perfect situation for God to act in.Jesus Generation (P246 Church) · Athens, Ohio · Join us Sundays, 10:30am–12:30pm · 726 East State Street#JesusGeneration #P246Churches #YouMatterToGod #onOurWayToAThousand #EmbracingHisPower #PursuingHisPresence #YouAreLoved #Ohio #AthensOhio🎙️ Jesus Generation | @P246Churches— Stay Connected —Watch on YouTube: https://youtube.com/@P246ChurchesWebsite: https://www.p246church.org/How can we pray for you? When Life Isn't Fair: Turn It Around Through Faith | Nana Boadum, PhD
Life is not fair — and blind Bartimaeus proves it. No backstory, no advantages, begging by the Jericho road. In this message from our Faith series, Pastor Nana Boadum opens Mark 10:46–52 and traces how one man turned an unfair situation into an opportunity through the working of his faith: life isn't fair, but faith levels the playing field; you may lack one thing, but you have something — find it and work it; faith begins with knowing who Jesus really is; when opposition says "be quiet," cry out the more; Jesus stands still for faith; throw aside the old garment that can't sustain your new level; be specific about the outcome you're believing for; and when you receive it, follow the Giver — not just the gifts.Jesus Generation (P246 Church) · Athens, Ohio · Join us Sundays, 10:30am–12:30pm · 726 East State Street#JesusGeneration #P246Churches #YouMatterToGod #onOurWayToAThousand #EmbracingHisPower #PursuingHisPresence #YouAreLoved #Ohio #AthensOhio🎙️ Jesus Generation | @P246Churches— Stay Connected —Watch on YouTube: https://youtube.com/@P246ChurchesWebsite: https://www.p246church.org/How can we pray for you?
