War in Iraq: Pacifist Nullity and Re-emergence of "Resistance" — N+1 Quinterna (2003) | Audiobook

Full English-language audiobook of “War in Iraq: Pacifist Nullisms and Regurgitations of ‘Resistance’,” an N+1 text written during the 2003 Iraq War. The article examines the invasion of Iraq through a Communist Left analysis of imperialism, arguing that modern imperialism is not simply the aggressive policy of individual states but a general condition of mature capitalism and global competition. It criticises bourgeois pacifism, appeals to the United Nations, and the treatment of national resistance as an independent proletarian alternative. Rejecting comparisons between Iraqi resistance, the Paris Commune, and Stalingrad, the text instead advances the perspective of active defeatism and class struggle. It considers the position of Iraqi proletarian-soldiers, the role of Kurdish and other partisan forces, the legacy of anti-war resistance during the Vietnam War, and the need to preserve proletarian forces for future struggles extending beyond Iraq into the Western metropolises. N+1. “Guerra in Iraq: nullismi pacifisti e rigurgiti di ‘resistenza’.” *n+1*, supplement to no. 10 (11 April 2003). Jacques Camatte — Bordiga and the Fate of the Species (2020) | Audiobook

English audiobook of Jacques Camatte’s “Bordiga and the Fate of the Species” (2020), written as the preface to the 2021 English edition of Amadeo Bordiga’s “The Economic and Social Structure of Russia Today.” Camatte revisits Bordiga’s analysis of the Soviet Union, capitalism and communism in light of the collapse of the USSR and Eastern Bloc, while reflecting on the continuing significance of Bordiga’s revolutionary theory. Beginning with the historical debate over whether the Soviet Union was socialist or capitalist, Camatte turns to Bordiga’s critique of capitalist development, the productive forces and humanity’s destructive separation from nature. He connects Bordiga’s communist perspective on the human species to his own later concept of “inversion,” examining technology, economic growth, communist behaviour, humanity’s relationship with nature and the possibility of overcoming capitalist society. Camatte, Jacques. 'Bordiga and the Fate of the Species'. November 2020. Preface to the 2021 English edition of Amadeo Bordiga’s 'The Economic and Social Structure of Russia Today'. The Dogma, the Action and the Ipse Dixit — N+1 Quinterna (2001) | Audiobook

Full English-language audiobook of “Splitting the Triumphant Beast: The Dogma, the Action and the Ipse Dixit,” published by N+1 in 2001. This essay examines Marxism, communist theory, invariance, revisionism and the misuse of authority within the workers’ movement, beginning from the formula ipse dixit—“he said it”—and the tendency to treat quotations from Marx, Lenin, Bordiga, and other revolutionary figures as substitutes for theoretical method. Against both dogmatism and revisionism, the text presents communist theory as the impersonal product of a historical movement extending across generations rather than the intellectual property of individual thinkers. Through the metaphor of workers riveting a bridge, it develops the Communist Left conception of theoretical continuity, collective knowledge, the class party and the reversal of praxis. N+1. “Il dogma, l’azione e l’Ipse dixit.” n+1, no. 6 (December 2001): 90–92. New English translation and audiobook by The Solar Collective / Library of the Communist Left, 2026.
