The Danger of Knowledge Without Love

Why Parents, Not the State, Must Raise Your Kids

In this eye-opening episode of LIFE Bite, Pastor Chet addresses a controversial new California bill (AB-495) and its dangerous implications for Christian parents. While the state claims to protect children, the vague language of this bill could undermine parental authority and open the door for unintended consequences. Pastor Chet takes us back to God’s Word, reminding us that it is parents—not the government—who bear the biblical responsibility to teach, train, and disciple their children. From Deuteronomy to Ephesians, Scripture makes clear that raising the next generation in the Lord is the sacred calling of mothers and fathers. With clarity and urgency, Pastor Chet exposes: The biblical mandate for parents to teach their children God’s Word. Why government overreach into the family is dangerous. The unintended consequences hidden in AB-495. How the Church can respond with wisdom, courage, and action. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, or simply a believer concerned for the next generation, this episode will convict and equip you to stand firm in God’s truth.

How Should Christians Respond to the Protests in LA?

In this timely episode, Pastor Chet addresses one of today's most divisive topics through a biblical lens, sharing his personal discovery of his family's undocumented immigration status from the Bahamas and how it shaped his understanding of Christ-centered responses to controversial issues. 🔥 Pastor Chet teaches three essential principles for Christians navigating immigration and other sensitive topics: maintaining Christian character as outlined in Matthew 5, demonstrating Christian conduct worthy of the gospel, and understanding Christian contention through the balance of Romans 13:1 and Acts 5:29. 📖 This message challenges believers to move beyond political divisions and respond with the heart of Christ - showing mercy to all people, being peacemakers, and choosing prayer over protest. Pastor Chet shares powerful examples from his missionary work in Liberia, where he and his wife rescued 1,500 child soldiers, demonstrating what sacrificial gospel living actually looks like. 📌 If you're struggling with how to respond biblically to complex social and political issues while maintaining your witness for Christ, this episode offers biblical perspective and practical guidance. Pastor Chet reminds listeners that the most powerful response to any crisis is prayer, encouraging believers to seek God's intervention rather than relying solely on human solutions.

Why 40,000+ Church Denominations Exist (The REAL Reason Churches Split)

In this powerful episode, Pastor Chet tackles one of Christianity's most challenging realities: why there are over 40,000 different denominations when Jesus prayed for unity among believers. Drawing from extensive church history research, he explores the difference between destructive conflict and fighting the good fight of faith. 🔥 Pastor Chet reveals how church divisions throughout history - from the Eastern and Western church split to modern disagreements (including churches that actually divided over whether Adam had a belly button!) - teach us when conflict strengthens faith versus when it becomes sinfully divisive. 📖 This message examines Paul's confrontation with Peter in Galatians and Jude's instruction to "contend for the faith," showing believers how to stand for biblical truth while maintaining Christian love. Pastor Chet distinguishes between foolish arguments that waste energy and the "good fight" that honors God and advances His kingdom. 📌 If you're struggling with disagreements in your church community or wondering how to defend your faith without causing division, this episode provides biblical wisdom for navigating conflict in a way that glorifies Christ and preserves the unity He desires for His people.
