Join poet Bailey Rodfield as she navigates being a thirty-something year old adult while healing from trauma. This podcast may contain potentially triggering material as it does discuss serious topics. We’re all on this crazy path together, though, and Bailey hopes you take comfort in knowing that you aren’t alone.
In this episode, we discuss the summer fever of homophobia during Pride month, the isolation of consistently not being anyone else's first choice, and how love and pronouns should never have elicited the anger and hatred they have.
Original poems "and i rip out all the wires", "I am just lousy addled with Pride", "to be used is to be loved", and "love isn't a sin, and good luck getting f***ed for saying so" all by me, Bailey Rodfield.
Music used in this episode is "wake up" by me, Bailey Rodfield
"Summer Fever" by Donna Summer (I claim no rights)
"Paradigm Rush" by Jaxius

and i chose this cage
This episode is the follow up to the last. To get the full effect of what I'm trying to say about loneliness versus being 'lonely', you gotta listen to both. In this episode, our tragic hero Bailey continues to sort through the ego death of repeating a cycle that is not good for her, as she thinks of and reminisces other situations, with other friends.
Original poems 'You Might Say I Am Trapped', 'Lines On A Graph, Destined To Diverge', 'Nobody Can Draw Da Vinci, Or Whatever', and 'Lines of People At The Dollar Store' all by me, Bailey Rodfield.
The cover of the song 'Lonesome' by Dr. Dog is also done by me, Bailey Rodfield.
Additional music provided by Jaxius. Sound design by me and from the good folx at Freesound.org.
You're allowed to make an adult mistake. It's what you do after that matters.

and her love was poison
Grab some coffee. We're starting season six off on a low note.
This episode contains several dramatized depictions of real life struggles and situations. The people involved will remain anonymous, outside of close friends. You knowing the people involved is not a go ahead to harass them. Several trigger warnings include emotional infidelity, social media addiction, addiction to validation, and several fairly uncomfortable depictions of symptoms and behavioral patterns of borderline spectrum.
"And The Line Borders Parody", "And The Loneliness Is A Triangle", "And The Good Flower Is Green", "And Her Love Was Poison" all performed by me, Bailey Rodfield.
