Plot Twist: Maybe This Is the Good Part
Hey friends, and welcome back to Life, Lately — Letters for the In-Between, the podcast where we talk about the messy middle, unexpected beginnings, unanswered prayers, answered prayers that look nothing like we pictured, and all the little moments where God reminds us that He is still writing the story.

Because today, I want to talk about something I’ve been thinking about lately:
What if this is the good part?
Not because everything is perfect.
Not because every prayer has been answered.
Not because the bank account is overflowing, the laundry is folded, the car has never made a suspicious noise, and I suddenly know exactly what I’m doing with my life.
Because… absolutely not. 😂
But what if the good part isn’t the part where everything finally goes according to plan?
What if the good part is realizing you don’t need everything figured out to actually enjoy your life?
So… dear friend in the in-between,
This letter is for you.

“God Said Go… I Took the Wrong Hallway
What happens when you say yes to something completely outside your comfort zone? Apparently, you pass security officer training, start a brand-new career…and then get completely lost trying to find the security desk on your first shift alone. 😂
In this episode of Life, Lately — Letters for the In-Between, I’m sharing what my first few weeks as a security officer have taught me about starting over, being a beginner, laughing at yourself, and trusting God when you don’t have the whole map.
This season is reminding me that faith doesn’t always mean knowing exactly where you’re going. Sometimes it means taking the next step, trusting that God already knows the way, and saying yes to the unexpected adventures He puts in front of you.
And maybe you’re standing at the beginning of something new, too. Maybe there’s a door God has opened that scares you a little, an opportunity you keep talking yourself out of, or a new adventure you don’t feel completely ready for.
Consider this your sign to say YES anyway. 🤍
