Each person views themselves as the protagonist of their life, and each week we hear about their stories and the obstacles they have overcome. This is the final episode of season two and so I got my good friend Ava to interview me instead! For those who don’t know, I studied mechanical engineering for my undergrad but will soon be pursuing a master’s in physiotherapy. I explain the journey and thought-process behind making this big career pivot, and some of the things I learned about myself along the way! I also explain what it’s been like making friends as an adult, my love of expression, and my experience as a client in therapy!
With this being a season finale, I just want to thank all my guests for having been on and making this season possible, it truly was always a highlight of each week for me and I know how hard it can be to talk about yourself in a public setting like this. Thank you to everyone who’s been following or has sent me kind messages telling me how much they enjoyed the podcast! I hope to see you all for Season 3 in 2031!

27 Leah Mousseau: Life Isn't Linear
This episode features the final guest in the Sitting Volleyball Mini-Series, Leah Mousseau. Throughout this series, I’ve been chatting with members of the Canadian Women’s Sitting Volleyball Team, sharing their stories, experiences, and journeys in the sport.
Leah is both the assistant coach and development coordinator of the Canadian Women’s Sitting Volleyball Team and she discusses her roles during the episode. She also talks about the unique lens she views the sport through as an occupational therapist. Leah talks about the importance of having sport at all levels and the journey to grow the sport in Canada.
Leah also explains how she learned that life isn’t linear. No matter how much you plan out your life, there are so many things out of your control and other pathways to discover.
