Pastor Malachi Mitchell, born and raised in San Diego, has walked a remarkable journey—from acting and modeling to city service, and now a powerful voice in ministry. In 1996, during one of the darkest times of his life, he experienced a spiritual awakening where God changed his name from Anthony Mitchell to Malachi—a name he’s affectionately known by today.
Licensed and ordained since 1984, he has served as youth pastor and co-pastor at Good Samaritan of San Diego Church alongside his family. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Christian Studies with an emphasis in Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
Together with his wife Christine, he founded Life’s Word Ministry to reach, teach, and restore hope—helping families heal, empowering the broken, and inspiring lives to change through the truth of God’s Word.

The Invitation Still Stands
Isaiah 55:6–7: “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way... and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him... for he will abundantly pardon.”
Maybe you think you've gone too far. You've made too many mistakes. Ignored God too many times. Broken too many promises. Fallen into the same sin again and again. Maybe there was a time when you were closer to God.

The Day Every Knee Will Bow Ep.395
The Day Every Knee Will Bow
Philippians 2:9–11: “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow... And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
There is a day coming when there will be no atheists, no skeptics, no doubters, and no question about who Jesus Christ really is.
