We discuss the importance (and fun) of planning meetings for all the things!!!  We talk about the trend, #mamasdone, what are you done with as a mom?   We're having a conversation about our best yes... what do you delight in?  What do you enjoy doing that gives you a minute to breath and fills your bucket?  We talk about some true crime we're invested in.  And finally, it's Jenn's turn for her favorite five! We're international with two downloads in Germany and we've had over 100 downloads total so far.  Thank you for listening!  This week we recap the paint party and we talk about some of our unpopular opinions from dogs to In-n-Out to appropriate text and phone call response time.  And a few thoughts about the 'electronic leash' we've all found ourselves tied to.   We also give our first restaurant review from Five Vines Wine Bar!  We recommend the Pear + Brie Skillet Melt and the Rose Flight. We're Doin' the Dang Thing

Welcome to our very first episode!  We're a little nervous to kick this off but, after a year, we're finally doin' the dang thing.  Get to know us, Jenn and Claire, and how we met.  Hear all about what we call 'our Sister Wife' lifestyle and why it works for us... minus the sharing a husband part.  We also dive into the importance and value of finding a tribe for yourself, your family and your children.  So hop in your car, buckle up and hang out with us for awhile.  We hope you learn something that makes your life a little easier or you find yourself shouting 'SAME' because you're not alone and we're all in this dang thing together! (and if you took a shot every time we said 'fun' or 'excited', please don't drink and drive, drink responsibly). Also, it's Jenn's week for her five favorite things that are currently giving her life or saving her life!  As always, all items will be linked here in the show notes but can also be found on our Instagram or our website. *GIVEAWAY* To celebrate our very first episode and Jenn's very first five, we'll be picking one listener to win one of Jenn's favorites.  Pick your favorite thing from her list and we will send it off to you!  To enter, head to our Instagram @lifesidebysidepodcast (https://www.instagram.com/lifesidebysidepodcast/), you'll receive one entry if you like the post with Jenn's favorites, and one entry if you tag a friend on that post.  Lots of chances to win... good luck! http://www.lifesidebysidepodcast.com (http://www.lifesidebysidepodcast.com) https://www.instagram.com/lifesidebysidepodcast/ (https://www.instagram.com/lifesidebysidepodcast/) Show Notes: -Jenn's Chick-fil-A Tea (https://www.chick-fil-a.com/menu/freshly-brewed-iced-tea-sweetened) (ask for 1/2 sweet, 1/2 unsweet) -Claire's Chick-fil-A Tea (https://www.chick-fil-a.com/menu/freshly-brewed-iced-tea-unsweetened) -bic it (https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=bic%20it) -Beer & Hymns (https://www.instagram.com/beerandhymnsoc/) -Frozen Era Moms on Tik Tok (https://www.tiktok.com/@courtneywhite_fit/video/7345611414750399775?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7350399816801109535) -TJ's Peas & Carrots, sour gummy candies (https://www.traderjoes.com/home/products/pdp/peas-carrots-sour-gummy-candies-076950) -TJ's Brookie, caramel candy clusters (https://www.traderjoes.com/home/products/pdp/brookie-caramel-candy-clusters-076746) -TJ's Cheery Lemon Animal Crackers -Temu, portable, electric beverage dispenser (https://www.temu.com/goods.html?_bg_fs=1&goods_id=601099517479641&_x_sessn_id=xh73ln3t71&refer_page_name=bgt_order_detail&refer_page_id=10045_1711399154145_zqq4ssqm8n&refer_page_sn=10045) Jenn's 5: -Inverted, reverse, upside down umbrella (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097CZDRXD?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share&th=1) -Automatic wine aerator dispenser (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CHS5WMPS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) -eos Ultra Care Lip Treatment, the Fixer (https://www.walmart.com/ip/eos-Ultra-Care-Lip-Treatment-Medicated-Analgesic-Lip-Ointment-0-35-oz-1-Pack/389463761) -Handwarmers, rechargeable, 2 pack (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CC17CKGG?starsLeft=1&ref_=cm_sw_r_cso_sms_apin_dp_3DF0SZP035THCQKJGYXC) -Hello Love Press On Nails (https://helloloveinc.com) Thank you for your support!
