Life with Kanyin is about faith, growth, and finding God in everyday life.
It’s not a sermon, it’s a journey. Real stories. Honest moments. Lessons learned in the middle of it all.
Hosted by Oluwakanyinsola, each episode invites you to slow down, listen, and see how God is shaping your story too.
I’ve been thinking about how many things we make complicated as Christians, when the heart of God’s commandment can be summed up in something as simple as love.
Love God. Love your neighbour.
But what does that actually look like in everyday life?
In this episode of Life with Kanyin, we’re talking about what it means to love people beyond just saying that we do.
Because if I genuinely love my neighbour, there are certain things I won’t do to them. I won’t steal from them. I won’t lie about them. I won’t deliberately hurt them or take advantage of them.
But love also affects how we handle conflict, how we speak about people, how we forgive, how we set boundaries, and how we treat people when they have nothing to offer us.
This isn’t about pretending to like everyone or becoming a people-pleaser.
It’s about asking a more honest question:
What would change about the way I treat people if I actually allowed love to guide me?

Realistic Expectations In Friendship
In this episode of Life with Kanyin, Oluwakanyinsola talks about realistic expectations in friendships.
Friendships can be beautiful, but they can also become difficult when we expect people to always understand us, always show up the way we would, or always know what we need without us saying it.
We talk about communication, boundaries, disappointment, changing seasons, and learning that having expectations doesn’t mean expecting perfection.
An honest conversation about friendship, growing together, and giving people room to be human. Sometimes having healthier friendships starts with having healthier expectations.

Missing People God Removed

We’ll talk about grief, attachment, obedience, and why missing someone doesn’t mean you made the wrong decision. This is a quiet, honest conversation for anyone learning to let go while still feeling the weight of what was.
You’re not going backwards. You’re just human.

Forgiving When It Still Hurts
Forgiveness is easy to talk about until you’re the one bleeding.
In this episode, Kanyinsola talks about forgiveness when it hurts, when the apology never comes, when the wound is still open, and when letting go feels unfair.
This is not about pretending it didn’t hurt or rushing healing. It’s about what Jesus actually asks of us, what forgiveness is and what it is not, and how obedience sometimes looks like choosing freedom while your heart is still catching up.
If you’ve ever asked God, How do I forgive this? or feeling guilty because you’re not “over it yet,” this episode is for you.
